After a 14-year career as a microbiologist, Carrie decided to pursue a career that gave her the satisfaction and reward she was looking for every day at work. Carrie received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. Prior to Simple Path Recovery, Ms. Moore worked with court mandated youths with drug and alcohol issues. She also spent time working at a private substance abuse treatment center. Carrie loves to facilitate positive change in her client’s lives and feels lucky to work in a field so personally rewarding. She strives to create a safe, understanding and non-judgmental environment. When Carrie is not at work, you can find her at a local yoga studio or traveling with her husband.

Intensive Outpatient
South Florida Intensive Outpatient for Addiction
Our South Florida intensive outpatient (IOP) for addiction is generally a 6-8-week program which can be extended dependent upon each client’s progress. This outpatient program provides 9 hours per week of addiction treatment. Our South Florida IOP program permits clients to live in our supervised sober living, work at a job, and travel to our addiction treatment center to participate in treatment.
Addiction recovery in the intensive outpatient program is about teamwork, and it starts with you. Our South Florida intensive outpatient program will encourage you to change the destructive attitudes you hold about yourself that fuels substance abuse. You will overcome your fears and learn how to attain your goals. You will do this with both traditional and non-traditional methods. Simple Path Recovery treats the total person, not just the addiction side. Our South Florida IOP program helps clients realize a life they were meant to live.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Florida Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in Pompano Beach
Our Florida Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is designed for adult patients who want to get off the merry-go-round of life-threatening relapse. In fact, it’s one the best addiction therapies for those addicted to opioids whose goal is to achieve long-term sobriety. With the assistance of evidence-based medication, our clients can achieve positive outcomes and normalize their lives. Most importantly, MAT programs like Suboxone maintenance have become the most effective and life-changing forms of addiction care in decades. MAT integration can help patients overcome the craving to use heroin and other opioids. Today, the primary medications used in most MAT programs include: Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, Naltrexone and Vivitrol.
Designed specifically for the treatment of alcohol and opioid addiction, medication assisted treatment (MAT) includes both specific medications and behavioral therapies that are intended to:
Get clients focused on their recovery without cravings or withdrawal.
Aid clients in integrating strategies and skills.
Normalize life.
Reduce the risk of relapse.
